Tips for Applicants for Training Courses

How to apply for a training position at ROB

Your application enables us to gain an initial impression of you. To ensure this picture is as positive as possible, please note the following:

Arrange your documents in a simple loose-leaf binder or report folder. Please contribute towards environmental protection and do not place individual sheets in clear plastic punched pockets. You can also send your application by e-mail to azubi@rob-holding.com.

What should your application include?

  • Application letter:Tell us briefly and convincingly why you want to join ROB as a trainee. Give us additional information to awaken our interest in you personally.
  • Curriculum vitae (CV) / Resume:Your CV should be in table form and contain important details like your address, education, other activities (hobbies, voluntary positions, clubs or associations etc.) Don't forget to add the date and your signature!
  • Copies of certificates:Copies of your last two school reports or (if already available) your school-leaving certificate. Also any certificates or proof of relevant additional qualifications.

Tip:

Ask your parents or friends to read your application before you send it off - it's all too easy to overlook mistakes.

When to apply

It is best to apply one year before you want to begin your training, as soon as you receive your annual school report (before the school holidays!). We should receive your application by September at the latest.

How the application process works

We read your application carefully, and if it 'strikes a spark' with us, you go on to the next hurdle to stay in the race. In this, we invite you to a selection procedure at our company. If you pass this test, you are added to the shortlist. To get to know you better, we invite you to a personal interview.

We wish you every success in your application!
